The NBA and WBNA have led the sports world in many ways this year -- from
announcing a shutdown of their seasons due to Covid-19, to deliversing a virtual live draft (WNBA) to
standing up for racial justice. In 2020, the NBA/WNBA have been first to put dynamic strategies in place
when they were needed most.
Even after a successful bubble (/wubble) season and post-season for both leagues, the global pandemic
continues to threaten what their 2021 season will look like.
This site aims to visualize elements of both leagues: the teams, the players and -- using
machine-learning -- determine the impact Covid is having on player performance and other key areas of
the
game and the business of basketball.
